2001 Franklin Institute "camp-in" Patch

The Annual "camp-in", sponsored by The Franklin Institute was held on March 2nd and March 3rd, 2001.

Check-in was 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM Friday evening, March 2nd followed by an orientation session and movie, at 7:30 PM, in the 3-D theatre.

The camp-in attendees were divided into groups and each had it's own schedule of events. The events included; The 3-D Theatre, a Make and Take Home project, free time to explore the Institute, The I-Max Theatre, 12:00 midnight lights-out, 6:30 AM Saturday wake-up call, breakfast, The Fels Planetarium and additional free time to explore the exhibits. The camp-in was officially over at 9:30 AM, Saturday March 3rd. The attendees had till 12:00 noon to do additional exploring of the exhibits and facilities.

Each participant received a special event patch which is pictured above.

Pack 78 had one Tiger, four Wolves, five Bears, eight trained leaders and two parents present. A good time was had by all. We hope to see more of you attend next years event. The location of next years "camp-in" will be announced in the future.
