Cub Scout Pack 78 was represented by three families...
Webelos Scout - Christopher Hamlin with dad... Cubmaster - John Hamlin Webelos Scout - Kameron Martin with grand-dad... Assistant Cubmaster - David Zollers Bear Cub Scout - Frank Gordon with parents... Barbara Gordon and David Gordon We occupied the Mohawk Campsite in the Cedar Area, slept on wooden/nylon cots, in canvas tents, set up on wooden platforms. We ate our meals in the Cedar Dining Hall, swam in the Cedar Pool and went boating on Long Lake. Members of our pack participated in swimming, canoeing, paddle boating, BB gun shooting, leather craft, wood craft and a campfire. Some of us made home-made ice cream after Saturday evening's dinner. We got up, each day, and went down to the pool by 7:00 am for the "Polar Bear Swim" where they dumped ice cubes in our laps and ice water over us before we got to go into the pool. Although it rained and stormed most of the weekend we all had a great time at Camp Delmont. We hope to see more of you there next year! It's a great place for scouts and parents to spend some quality time together. |
