Parents should "Help The Pack Go"
Help your Cub Scout Advance.
1. Tiger Cubs - Join and participate with your son.
2. Wolf and Bear Cubs - Work with your son, at home,
on his achievements and then sign and date his book.
You have to SET THE PACE in getting the achievements
done in the allotted time. DON'T wait for the den
leader to assign them. DON'T wait for the boys to do
them at the den meeting. There are more achievements
than there are den meetings.
3. Webelos - Work with your son and his den on an
appropriate activity badge.
Attend All Pack Meetings.
Bring your son INTO the Den meetings
and pick him up from the Den meeting.
1. Escort your son into and out of the meeting place -
don't just drop him off.
2. Be on time.
3. Don't chat with the Den Leader just before or after
the Den meeting - they must concentrate on the Cubs.
Remember that the meetings are for the Cub Scouts.
(i.e. the Pinewood Derby car is theirs)
VOLUNTEER to do something in the Pack. Each parent
has unique abilities that can help the Pack grow.
DON'T let it up to the other parents to do the work.
